America is What I'm Grateful For

There are problems;

There are issues:

There are inequalities;

There are sleazy politicians;

There are whackos;

BUT,

and it is a huge BUT,

AMERICA is still the greatest place.

And, sometimes, when I read a book, like the one I am reading now about a small country in Africa, I say to myself:

HOW DID I GET TO BE SO BLESSED TO LIVE IN AMERICA?
