When Grandchildren Make me Smile and Laugh

At a ball field in Texas; Evan and Asa watching.  And, three year old Felix hitting the ball at T-Ball!

Quick overnight stay from Amy, Calder, Eli and Phaedra; so, why not ask them to help clean the dirty windows?

And, then ask Calder how he likes sixth grade.  "It's fun," he says, which surprises and happifies me.

Another Heartbreaking Realization

 I'm heartbroken - again!

I had high hopes; they were dashed.

I'm at a very low point in my life right now.

Over so many things; failure as a: mother, grandmother, YW leader, YW teacher, homemaker, friend, etc.

I need help.

Actually, I need to realize the Saviour has already suffered this for me.  Why do I try to carry this load by myself?

It a conundrum.

Way to Start a Wednesday...

Head on over to the STOUT's for an hour seeing that they brush their teeth, comb their hair and just get out the door on their merry way to school.  With a little time for a game or two with silly little Oakley.

And, that's the beginning of a cheery Wednesday morning.

GRANDKIDS and GREAT GRANDKIDS

They made it home safely.  And, they all were glad to be home in America!  But, what an experience for them all.

They were great to do it.  Certainly makes one appreciate their own life circumstances.

And, then, there's one month old, BLAIRE COLLINS FISHER;

Such a darling as the youngest of three daughters:

Thanks, Janessa, for the photo.

Three Generations of 60th wedding Anniversaries

I am grateful for my remarkable heritage.

NOTE: this is really our 61st, but, close to 60, right?!?!?

HAPPY 101 BIRTHDAY, President Nelson!

How I love and admire this man.  Look at his lovely family.  Two of his daughters have died of cancer, but here are the remaining eight.

The Latest!

Here they are: waiting in the Miami airport to head to Honduras to do a medical mission.  Matt and Charlie get to go along and do miscellaneous "stuff."  Whatever that means.

Jordan and Kristi are in Honduras on a short medical mission.  Jordan did this once before and he wanted Kristi to do it.   These are other volunteers from the USA also.

Sunday night our family had a Zoom call.  It's always so fun.  I love talking to my brothers and their wives.  They are just good, happy people.

And, for what it is worth:

A REALLY high FICO score.  HAHAHAHHAHAH.

When the Fisher Family Gets Together....

 .....it's always lots of fun.

And it's a big gathering of EVERYONE....

Janessa bought all these hats and then each girl made the design using thread and glue.  SO cute.

Even dogs have a good time at the Fisher Family Reunion....

Well, That Was Certainly THOUGHTFUL!

 Sunday night.

Audra and Tanya came over; they are my ministers.  They don't come that often, but I am always glad when they arrive at the front door.  Sunday was no exception!

They are both beautiful and so nice; look how much alike they look!

Anyway, Tanya gave me two fresh peaches, a bar of home-made soap from South Dakota (she's a flight attendant and goes a lot of interesting places!)...and this truly sweet card:

That just made my entire day.  What a beautiful ending to a marvelous Sabbath.
I need to do that to someone like that and make their day so happy.
