Won't Fit In My Purse

So glad I don't have to carry this geologic calendar in my purse.

I like a little smaller calendar, thank you.

But, this is beautiful and unique in Goblin Valley.

My Usual Attire; Just NOT My Usual Church

Can you even believe this most unusual lovely, little church in Loa, Utah.  (Which by the way, was named after a volcano in Hawaii - Mauna Loa.  It just seems strange to name a little tiny desert town after something so far away and so lush and green.  But, it's awesome, actually.)

I actually had a dress to wear this week. WHEW!  That felt better!

The speakers talked about the Plan of Salvation and they were excellent, well-thought-out talks.  I was inspired by them.  This church building is so unique; it has a balcony.  In Pocatello, Idaho, for many years, I went to church with a balcony.  As teenagers, we loved to sit up there, hidden from the eyes of our parents.

This church originally was quite small, but they added on and the addition includes an elevator, as many old people could not make it up the steep steps to get to church. The windows and doors were kept open as it possibly doesn't have air conditioning, but it has a wonderful congregation.  We spoke to a lady who lived and raised her family here here in Loa, and she LOVES it.

Oh, it's so fun to visit churches all over...no matter where, it's just joyful!

NOT My Usual Sunday Attire

 I'm a WEAR-A-DRESS-ALL-DAY-SUNDAY kind of girl.

So, when I found myself in an isolated campground WITH NO SUNDAY DRESS at all, it was not a pretty thought.  But, I said to myself, better to go than to stay home because of inappropriate Sunday wear.

So, here we are at church on a Sunday morning in Koosharem, Utah.

Without Sunday Clothes.  And, guess what?  It was alright.

HA HA...looks like someone else also forgot her Sunday clothes.

RAH looks great, even tho he's a little more casual than usual on a Sunday morning.

At least, we combed our hair!
