A Few Little Tender Mercies

An absolutely PERFECT day at the St George Temple with Allison Christensen, Loni, Erika Mendenhall, a brand new ward member, and Doris Hancock.

We had such a delightful time and then we went to Croshaw's for a sandwich and LOTS of laughter.  Doris paid for all of our sandwiches.  She said it was to celebrate her birthday - which is October 31 (Halloween!)  We all got a good laugh out of that and decided we will go back on her ACTUAL birthday and we'll buy for her this time.

On Wednesday night, as I was walking to the church for Young Women, I encountered Brooke Bang, one of my all-time favorite people.  She was just heading out for a walk to Apple Valley Sourdough Bread shop (a ver long way away, I might add!).  We talked briefly, then we said toodle -oo.

At ten o'clock last night, I saw this text from Brooke.  And, sure enough, there on the porch was a loaf of the best sour dough bread in this town.  What a thoughtful thing for Brooke to do; it's expensive bread AND, she was walking which meant she had to carry even MORE loaves of bread.

I'm eating a slice of that delicious bread with REAL peanut butter and my protein shake for breakfast.  ALL VERY DELICIOUS I might add.

A great day all around, even though my phone was broken!  But I did successfully manage to get another one.

I have so many blessings; I am grateful!

Just Some STUFF!!

Dee turns 100 on Sunday; what a hero he is to me.  He is SO FAITHFUL about coming to the gym; he's positive, happy, with a great memory...
