Going Green

Everyone's jumping on the bandwagon...


the word is all about

G.R.E.E.N.


So, of course, I wanted to join in the fun.  (Thanks, Carisa, for the motivation.)
Yup, that's right, Allen and I are part of the green smoothie revolution.  


Here are some of the veggies we have used:


celery
carrots
spinach
kale
parsley
broccoli
cauliflower
cucumber


It's not as tasty as a pepperoni pizza, but it sure is healthy!

Do you usually mix veggies with fruit? How's the taste?

Amber, I do usually put in an apple or pear....but I've read/heard that is not good to do so. I do it for a little bit of sweetener. Do you mix them? Are you still doing a smoothie for breakfast?
